The internal shape creates an aerodynamic flow with a Venturi effect, which significantly reduces pressure drop.

All our nozzle check valves are designed with a short disc stroke, which also means smaller body sizes and less material required.

The special design of the disc significantly reduces hydraulic shock, which is also dependent on the torque of the spring.

Arflu Nozzle check valves are designed to reduce the velocity of fluid flow during closure.

Arflu valves are designed and engineered with minimal maintenance costs in mind. If any repairs are needed, they can be easily accessed without the need for special tools.

Nozzle check valves

Arflu's nozzle check valves have been designed to provide reliable backflow prevention. The engineering department at Arflu has developed a dynamic and rapidly closing nozzle check valve that reduces the velocity of the reverse flow. The axial movement of the disc creates a streamlined Venturi flow, minimizing pressure drop across the seat and turbulence. Our design requires very low headloss for full valve opening and provides superior hydrodynamic characteristics that respond quickly to flow disturbances. Arflu's nozzle check valves are available with multiple spring combinations, greatly enhancing their effectiveness. It has also been designed to have exceptionally low maintenance costs and high serviceability.

Materials of construction include carbon steel, stainless steel, Monel, Hastelloy C, and others.
