Control ball valves
Pressure-retaining components of the valve include the body, bonnet, and bolts. The design conforms to applicable ANSI, ASME, and DIN standards.
Arflu SWRO cork valves can be manufactured with a low-pressure flange for direct connection to CIP (plastic/fiberglass) pipes. The low-pressure flange can be customized according to customer requirements, such as PN10, ANSI 150, and others. This solution provides significant cost savings in non-disassembly cleaning systems.
The issues of noise and cavitation are addressed through the special design of internal components. Arflu has developed these designs and carefully selected suitable materials to mitigate these problems. With their experience, they can offer the best solution for each application.
The primary function of a control valve is to regulate the flow rate of fluid by creating a pressure drop.
The energy loss and pressure drop in a control valve can result in turbulence, vibration, noise, and erosion as side effects. Cavitation is an additional concern when working with fluids at high temperatures. To minimize wear and ensure durability of internal components, appropriate materials are selected.
Control ball valves
ARFLU's control ball valves have been designed for sizes up to 26 inches and pressure ratings up to Class 2500, depending on the size. They feature an unbalanced plug for sizes up to 4 inches and a balanced plug for sizes larger than 2 inches.
ARFLU's control ball valves come standard with metal-to-metal seat sealing, providing Class IV and V tightness. Additionally, as an option, they can be supplied with Class VI (bubble-tight) sealing up to 250ºC.
The use of balanced valves eliminates the need for large actuators, thereby reducing weight and cost.
Silicone bellows or other special caps can also be included as an option in this versatile valve lineup. They can be operated by pneumatic, electric, or electro-hydraulic actuators, and can accommodate various accessories.
Special designs have been developed, primarily for use in power generation or desalination plants, where high pressure and high temperature conditions are common.
Noise and vibration have been minimized, which extends the service life of Control Globe valves.
Low-noise finishing and diffusers can be supplied as an integral part of our design.
ARFLU control valves offer the best combination of design and materials for operation in the most demanding conditions.
The inline dimensions comply with the requirements of ISA S75.12, 15, and 16. The sealing of the body-to-bonnet joint is provided by spiral-wound gaskets made of stainless steel 316 and graphite in the standard configuration.
The connections between the body and bonnet are completely sealed and operate on the principle of controlled compression. Following proper manufacturing and servicing procedures ensures the correct fit for each size.
